Correct me if I’m wrong, but since jack’s cards aren’t all the same suit, I think he’s telling the truth here. He’d be better off folding.
He still has an Ace-high Straight, which is a pretty great hand, but a Royal Flush would have been even stronger.
To me a three of a kind or better is a good hand, then again I’ve never made much in Vegas, haha.
